About

The clinic Brandon wishes his teammates had.

Siler Brain Clinics is a physician-led brain health and performance practice within Pure Recovery California, located on the harbor in Oxnard. Founded by former NFL linebacker Brandon Siler. Built by a clinical team that talks to each other.

Brandon Siler, founder of Siler Brain Clinics

The founder

Brandon Siler.

NFL linebacker, 2007–2013 · Founder, Legacy Pro Sports · Founder, Siler Brain Clinics

Brandon Siler spent his playing career as a linebacker in the NFL. After football, he saw too many friends and teammates navigating brain health and concussion care that wasn’t built for them — passed between specialists who didn’t talk to each other, prescribed medications without a measurement, sent home without a plan.

Through Legacy Pro Sports, he built a network for athletes navigating that exact problem. Through Siler Brain Clinics, he’s built the clinic itself — within Pure Recovery California, located on the harbor in Oxnard, with a clinical team that lives in the same building and a single chart that every clinician on a patient’s plan reads from.

The standard of care for an NFL veteran walking through the door is the same as the standard of care for a Fortune 500 CEO, a regional sales director with treatment-resistant depression, or a Channel Islands neighbor curious about what their brain has been doing. Different protocols. Same team. Same care.

Clinical leadership

A team that sits in the same building.

Our clinical leadership oversees every patient’s plan — from assessment through medical care and recovery — on a single chart, with one care team.

Dr. Ryan Bennett, Clinical Neuropsychologist

Clinical Neuropsychologist

Dr. Ryan Bennett, Psy.D, ABAP

Dr. Ryan Bennett leads our diagnostic team — qEEG interpretation, neuropsychological testing, and the Brain Tour. Board-certified in clinical neuropsychology, he works with patients across the developmental lifespan, with particular focus on sport-related concussion, traumatic brain injury, neurodevelopmental differences, and the cognitive and emotional concerns that bring people through our doors.

His clinical background is the kind you want on the other side of an evaluation: three years as the team neuropsychologist for Nova Southeastern University athletics, supporting concussion management and performance optimization, plus prior work in Veterans Healthcare (VA), inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient community mental health. He has extensive experience conducting forensic neuropsychological evaluations in both civil and criminal cases.

In therapy, Dr. Bennett works from positive psychology and rehabilitation principles — cognitive-based techniques with existential features, designed to help patients name what they want and move toward it. He has a particular affinity for athletes navigating stress, anxiety, and performance, and for adults working through life transitions and adjustment.

Education

Psy.D, Clinical Psychology (Neuropsychology), Nova Southeastern University. B.A., Florida State University.

Telehealth

PsyPACT-approved — provides telepsychology services across multiple states for continuity of care.

Dr. Atman Reyes, Psychiatrist and Medical Director

Psychiatrist · Medical Director, TMS

Dr. Atman Reyes, MD

Dr. Reyes leads psychiatric care across the clinic and serves as Medical Director for our TMS program. Board-certified in psychiatry, he oversees medical protocols, screening, and safety for every patient on the medical side of the clinic.

His approach pairs careful diagnostic work with measurable treatment plans — medication management and TMS delivered in coordination with the assessment and recovery teams, on the same chart, with one care team.

Rebecca Bassham, Psychophysiologist

Psychophysiologist · Neuro Department

Rebecca Bassham, MA, qEEG-T, BCN, BCB

Rebecca runs our neurofeedback, biofeedback, and qEEG work on the recovery side of the clinic. Board-certified in both neurofeedback (BCN) and biofeedback (BCB) and a certified qEEG technologist (qEEG-T), she acquires and prepares the brain mapping and HRV data our clinicians review, and delivers the training protocols that follow.

If your plan includes brain training, Rebecca is the person you’ll spend the most time with — and the reason the numbers we’re tracking from one re-measure to the next are clean.

Austin Lutz, Neurofeedback Specialist

Neurofeedback Specialist · Neuro Department

Austin Lutz, B.A., BCN

Austin is a board-certified neurofeedback specialist (BCN) on our neuro team. He delivers the multi-modality and alpha-theta training protocols that follow your qEEG, working with patients through their training cadence and adjusting between sessions based on how the brain is responding.

If you’re in a Brain Fitness, Executive Brain, or Elite Recovery program, Austin and Rebecca are the two people you’ll work with most often on the recovery side.
